A Bigger Vision for Monotub Accessories
When I first started designing accessories for my NorthSpore Boomr Bin, my goal was simple: solve problems I ran into while growing mushrooms.
As more people began downloading my models and sharing feedback, I realized something. Many of the same challenges exist across different monotub brands, but most accessories are designed for only one ecosystem.
That's something I want to change.
Today, I'm excited to share the beginning of my Compatibility Roadmap.

This roadmap represents the brands and accessories I plan to support as the project grows. Rather than creating isolated upgrades, my goal is to build an ecosystem where growers can use the hardware and accessories they already own, regardless of which monotub they choose.
Recent Progress
Non-Magnetic Cover Plate
Not everyone wants an automated setup, so I designed a non-magnetic version of my cover plate for the NorthSpore Boomr Bin. It covers the factory screw holes while still allowing the use of filters and my plug system.
Midwest Grow Kits Support
One of my biggest milestones has been adapting several of my designs for the Midwest Grow Kits Growers Select Monotub.
This includes a new adapter that allows the NorthSpore Myco-Mister Mini to work with Midwest Grow Kits, giving growers another option without having to replace equipment they already own.
A New Hygrometer Adapter
I've also been working on a completely new hygrometer adapter.
Unlike my original version, this one is being designed entirely from scratch. It still needs refinement, but I'm making steady progress. My goal is to create a cleaner, OEM-inspired design that can be adapted across multiple monotub brands.
Looking Ahead
The roadmap is more than just a checklist. It's a commitment to building a growing collection of compatible accessories for multiple monotub ecosystems.

Help Expand the Compatibility Roadmap
Many of the brands on this roadmap require me to have the actual hardware on hand. While I can design from measurements and photos, I'm a hands-on maker. I prefer to prototype, test, and refine every accessory on the real product before I release it.
Some of these monotubs aren't part of my collection yet, and purchasing them all takes time and money.
